Midsummer nights dream
Broods, who were more than holding their own with the early crowd, were caught in time. Playing their familiar tunes to a hungry throng, Miike Snow was crisp for 60 minutes. The evening brought a coolness by then, as the just-past full moon arose orangish and transitioned to bright white for the duration of the show. While Black Mambo was playing, someone out in the distance was setting off fireworks as a bonus. Ensiferum set a syncopated beat for 90 minutes that never really let up and ratched the audience up to a frenzied encore. The boys were jamming away as the light show, the generated smoke, and the breeze at one point back shadowed them.
